Ruwanthie de Chickera will be conducting a playwriting workshop over the course of the Galle Literary Festival 2010. Anyone may apply to be a part of this workshop, you need no prior experience of writing or being on stage or backstage. In fact, we're keen to enlist first-timers and people for whom theatre is a new medium. Up to ten people will be selected to participate, on a commitment to joining all days of the workshop. (Friday 29 January 10am-1pm, Saturday 30 January 10am-3pm, Sunday 31 January 10am - 3pm, Monday 1 February: Public Performance 10am-11am) To apply to join the workshop please send short description of yourself and life as you see it now to info@galleliteraryfestival.com.
