Moderator

Vikrom is the Founding Director of Transitions Research, a social science research collective operating at the intersection of technology, society, and sustainability.

His ongoing work examines the social dimensions of climate change in India, exploring questions such as: How can we deeply and rapidly transform politics, norms, attitudes, and incentives to promote sustainable and equitable living? Vikrom is also developing a programme that investigates cultural responses to climate change, emphasising the potential of art and literature to galvanise public attention, drive policy action, and catalyse social and behavioural change.

He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Oxford University’s Institute for Science, Society, and Innovation. Vikrom is a Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, India, a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Social and Behavioral Change, and an Associate Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute.
