Dr Adam Rutherford

Author

Dr Adam Rutherford is a scientist, writer and broadcaster. He’s a lecturer at UCL, where he teaches genetics, focusing on the cultural and social impacts of biology, particularly in relation to race and eugenics. He’s written eight books, including the bestselling How To Argue With a Racist, and A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived. His broadcast career includes writing and presenting award winning television programmes, and many BBC Radio 4 programmes, where he currently presents the weekly culture show Start The Week. Adam is also a keen cricketer, keeping wicket for the Authors XI.
