Shyam Selvadurai is the writer of many novels which have been published internationally and translated into nine languages. His Funny Boy was made into a film, for which Shyam won the New York Cinema Independent Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Shyam’s new novel is Mansion of the Moon, a historical novel about the Buddha’s wife, published by Knopf and Penguin India.
