Shazad Synon is a self-taught origami artist from Colombo. What began as a teenager’s creative way of procrastination has now grown into a passion that sees him conducting origami workshops at design schools, children’s homes, and art spaces.

By day, Shazad works as an Associate Creative Director and writer at an advertising agency in Colombo, working with many local and international brands. Beyond his professional life, he is also a stage actor, around 15 years of experience performing in numerous theatre productions.
