French Cowboy is the artistic duo of Mia Macfarlane and Julien Crouigneau, renowned for their cinematic fusion of fine art and fashion photography. Based between Paris and Arles, their work explores themes of sustainability, inclusivity, and the interplay between humanity and nature. Their work has been featured in leading publications such as Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Opéra. With collaborations spanning Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, and Jean-Paul Gaultier, French Cowboy’s photography is featured in reference books The Fashion Image and The Fine Art Image. They co-edit IRK Magazine and founded IRK Gallerie in Arles, fostering artistic dialogue through exhibitions in Paris, London, and New York.
