Kairos, written by Jenny Erpenbeck and translated from German by Michael Hofmann, was awarded the 2024 International Booker Prize. 2024 judge Romesh Gunesekera joins the book’s writer and translator for a conversation about the novel, the selection process and the impact of the award. Chaired by former GLF curator Jill Macdonald.
