Born in the UK to Sri Lankan parents, Niro is a selector with over 20 years experience, having learnt on the job under the tutelage of a friend at the legendary London party Carwash back in 2001. This led him across the UK and Europe, to residencies at iconic London venues such as The End, Pacha and Cafe De Paris – and to countless more warehouse parties, basements and festivals over the last two decades. 

His obsession for collecting records and his exposure to the emancipatory nature of club culture and its history, its communality and its sonic possibilities continue to inform him. His sets are genre-fluid, reflecting lived experience and a curiosity for music from across the world, and are rooted in melody, groove and emotion.
