The 2018 Fairway Galle Literary Festival is delighted to welcome author Jaina Sanga.

Jaina Sanga’s is an Indian novelist and scholar whose works include Silk Fish Opium, published in 2012, followed by a collection of short stories, Train to Bombay (2015) and a duet of novellas, Tourist Season (2017).

She has published an academic book on Salman Rushdie, Salman Rushdie’s Postcolonial Metaphors (2001) and edited two volumes on South Asian literature.

She was born in Mumbai and now lives in Dallas where she is working on her fourth book, a detective novel set in India.
