Tennyson Perera

We are delighted to welcome Tennyson Perera to the 2017 Fairway Galle Literary Festival.

Tennyson Perera is a Sinhala Language author whose first short story collection ‘Sanda Eliya’ (Moonlight) was published in 1958.

His first novel ‘Duk Gindarak Medin’ (Passing Through Sorrow) was published in 1962.

Since then, he has authored 29 novels, 10 short stories collections, 38 Children’s story books, and more than 5 translations of novels.

He is shortlisted for the 2016 Fairway National Literary Award for his latest novel Maha Ravana’.
