Fate often gave Brigid Keenan a helping hand in leading a varied and adventurous life. Brigid, now in her 70’s, takes us on the journey of her life through these two memoirs.
She recreates vividly her work as a Fashion Editor at the Sunday Times and the Swinging Sixties in London during which Brigid had her hair cut by Vidal Sassoon, drove around London in a mini-van and covered the Paris Collections.
Then, in her second memoir, she discusses her further adventures when she fell in love with a diplomat and left behind the gilt of Paris fashion for a large chicken shed in Nepal. Her comic bestselling account of life as a ‘trailing spouse’, has won the hearts of thousands in countries all over the world.
This session promises to be charming and witty.
“Wherever in the world she is writing from, her warmth and her sharp observations won’t fail to delight.” – Financial Times.
