One of the hardest things that writers, both emerging and established, struggle with is dialogue: how to make it sound real, how to convey information without the dialogue sounding expository, how to make your characters sound different from each other.
In this insightful workshop, Booker shortlisted award winner, Sunjeev Sahota shares his secrets on how to write good dialogue. He will offer examples from literature and also lead in-class exercises that give you a chance to practice his techniques. You will learn how to make your dialogue sing and how to use dialogue to vividly light up the characters you create, whether in fiction or non-fiction.
