A 30-minute recital by the Colombo-based Muslim Choral Ensemble, who seek to share a message of peace and harmony by fusing contemporary compositions with pieces inspired by a global Islamic heritage. Spirituals include Zikr, Nashīds, Qasidas, and Qawwali in multiple languages. This inclusive male and female choir is led by Haadia Galely and Professor André de Quadros, with the support of vocal coach Manoj Sanjeewa.
